Windows Phone Not Too behavior, Why did Nokia choose it?...

In an effort to maintain its position as the king of mobile phones, Nokia finally chose Microsoft as a partner. At first glance, sales of Windows Phone was not too excited. So why Nokia chose?

Located in the office of Nokia Indonesia, on Thursday (17/02/2011), Neil Gordon Vice President, Sales for Southeast Asia Pacific, Nokia had to explain several related reasons for this.

"The challenge facing Windows Phone is in terms of distribution. Microsoft needs partners from mobile phone vendors, and Nokia bring a strong asset for this cooperation," he explained.

He continued, Nokia saw that Microsoft needed aspects of the distribution, retail, customer service, to come to market, where they have not found until today.

"This is not just a matter of how to sell the device to market, but also how consumers will get after-market service afterwards," he added.

Will History Repeat?

With Windows Nokia mobile phone products, it is quite possible that the market share of Windows Phone 7 (WP7) will be rising sharply. We remember the golden age in the past Symbian, Nokia is a mobile phone vendor with the largest market share of Symbian, and Nokia brought into the king of mobile phones.

With so many vendors are adopting Windows Phone, it is quite possible that history will repeat itself. Originally, Nokia is really the totality of the needs of consumers, as the development era.

Microsoft has a portfolio of ecosystem and good software. Nokia has the quality hardware, and a bold design pitted. Let us wait whether the new strategy is quite precise Nokia captivate consumers.
